Welcome to Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod!
We're thrilled to announce that our beloved Cape Codder Resort & Spa is undergoing a $30 million transformation to become Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod. During this exciting renovation, our resort remains open, offering multiple outlets for your enjoyment!
Many are familiar with the Cape Codder Hotel in West Falmouth, a historic site with a rich history. Originally opened as the Sippewissett Hotel in 1900 by John C. Haynes on the former site of Richard L. Swift’s sheep farm, it has undergone several name changes over the years, including the Cleveland Hotel and the Mayflower Hotel. In 1930, Mr. and Mrs. Percival F. Brine renamed it the Cape Codder. The Cape Codder Hotel and its iconic signs became the center of town and state debates in the summer of 1937. By September 1937, the hotel lawn was transformed into a regulation-sized football field, adding another unique chapter to its storied history.
Come experience the next chapter of this historic resort as we bring the Margaritaville vibe to Cape Cod!
